Tillamook needed to be introduced to Texas. Texans like a good introduction before they'll accept you and call you a friend. Tillamook is in Oregon… not Texas and Tillamook is hard to pronounce. This worried us. So we created a couple of friendly guys (Luke & Dale) and we sent them across Texas to say hi. Luke and Dale were initially introduced in Texas to help bolster a brand that had been stagnant for five years. In the first months of the campaign, sales increased 50% and held steady at 40% over the course of the first year. In the second year sales increased another 30% and because of this we sent them to California and the results have been very good indeed. Oh! And in Texas, website visits increased 480% over the previous year.
