Charred is Ole Smoky’s first “Premium” offering. We chose black as our main color for the packaging. Which we designed. In fact, we designed and illustrated Charred’s entire identity system, including its handmade logo. “Charred is the new black” became the mantra. Ole Smoky Charred is aged in charred (burned) barrels. We used photos of the actual “charred” barrel interiors for the background color. “Premium” is a state of mind. It’s also taste and a place and an experience. That said, “premium” doesn’t mean you can’t have some fun.
